What do you do?
I help our Airport Team members uncover their knowledge about guest services. Then, I supplement that with technical know-how so they can provide the best service to our guests.
Why do it at Virgin America?
There’s nothing quite like it. Our CEO’s door is always open and we can walk in, kick back, and say what’s on our mind. It’s totally cool! Plus, I get to be part of something that is going to revolutionize the airline industry in the USA. The parties aren’t bad either!
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I’ll let you know once I grow up... But seriously, I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do, but I knew it had to have something to do with airplanes.
What’s the coolest place you’ve traveled to and why?
The coolest trip I’ve been on recently is the trip I took with one of my friends to Malaysia (Borneo), Thailand, Singapore, and Hong Kong. It was a blast. The best part of that trip was going to the orangutan sanctuary in Borneo where they rehabilitate orphaned orangutans.
When you wake up, what is the first thing you think about?
The first thing I think about is the new reservations system that we’re implementing. Sad, I know.
What’s on your MP3 player you’d be embarrassed about?
That’s way too embarrassing. I only listen to it at night, with the windows up and on the highway so no one can hear.
What do you do to treat yourself?
I’ll get on a plane and fly somewhere fun for the weekend, like Vegas.
Just a moment, please.
