How Do You Spend Time Aboard the Aircraft?

Nearly 24 million travelers are expected to fly this Thanksgiving season—and Virgin America will welcome 190,000 flyers alone over the holiday period. We all know that Thanksgiving travel can be grueling and, in some cases, full ofunexpected snafus (who can forget Jon Candy and Steve Martin’s epic Thanksgiving journey in Planes, Trains and Automobiles?). Luckily, if you are one of the 190,000 flying on us, we’ve got plenty of ways to keep you relaxed and entertained in the sky. From surfing the web to watching (non-travel related) romantic comedies to making new friends—when you fly on Virgin America, we’ve got you covered.

Personally, I spend a lot of time online in-flight, and plan to log in in at 35,000 feet en route back home. I’ll likely be catching up with friends on Gchat, reading my favorite blogs, updating Facebook to let my high school friends know I’ll be back in town…or not. Either way, as a multi-tasker I’ll be doing all of the above while watching movies or TV shows on Red. Virgin America also has a seat-to-seat chat platform, so if you’d like to get to know a new travel companion a few rows over, you can easily strike up a conversation.

In this week’s poll, tell us how you plan to keep yourself entertained while traveling over the holidays. I hope your holiday travel plans aren’t quite as eventful as a 1980′s comedy-of-errors, but just as entertaining.
