Once you earn your status, you’ll enjoy the benefits that come with it for the rest of the year, and the next year too. It’s a pretty sweet deal. How to get hooked up:
Earning your Elevate Status is pretty simple, actually.
1. With Virgin America, you’ll earn 5 status points per $1 spent on your base fare.
2. With Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Australia, you’ll earn status points based on the number of miles you fly and the class of service in which you travel.
We’ll check your Elevate status points daily to see if you’re ready to take your membership to the next level. As soon as you’ve earned 20,000 status points in a calendar year, you’re Elevate Silver. Go on to earn 50,000 status points, and you’re Elevate Gold.
