Virgin America Waives Change Fees and Fare Differences for Travelers Impacted by Winter Storm in Mid-Atlantic
San Francisco – December 18, 2009 – Due to severe winter storms along the East Coast, Virgin America is waiving change fees and fare differences for guests who may wish to postpone their travel plans on flights originating from or departing to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and Washington Dulles (IAD) this weekend.
Guests inconvenienced by the severe weather with confirmed flights on Friday, December 18, 2009 and Saturday, December 19, 2009, may change their travel plans without paying change fees or the difference in fares.* Affected guests that contact Virgin America may change their travel dates within a seven day range.
Virgin America advises guests impacted by the severe weather to call Virgin America reservations at 1.877.FLY.VIRGIN (1.877.359.8474)** between the hours of 3:30AM and 11:30PM Pacific Time to make a change to their itinerary.
